Great fun to communicate with others that dont speak English. You also learn to pronounce the words yourself.

I have used this app with customers who speak almost no English. They speak into my phone and the app tells me what they are saying so that I can help them. Excellent variety of the most common languages.

It is so awesome. I can now speak to my Francophone and Deutsch friends.

I was doubtful, as the Chinese language choice displays a complete lack of linguistic understanding on the part of the developers. Sadly, this app failed on all counts (iPhone 5s). This app should be removed for false advertising.

I have tried a few language translators and I truly love this one. It catches every single word I say to it and the translations are very accurate. The only thing missing, and very important to me, is the SWITCH button on the dialogue page. Imagine when you are traveling, you want to use this app to translate for you while you are talking to another person, you cant constantly go back to the setting after saying one sentence. So please, developer if you see this review, please add a SWITCH button and send out an update ASAP.

Really handy when calling a foreign number with an automated service! Only problem is that it seems to only allow you to speak into it for a matter of seconds before it translates but will have to look into it a little more. Worth the upgrade for the 99 cents.

It works well, certainly worth the upgrade but I a multi lingual conversation between 3 or more with comprehensive translations for all would certainly help. Especially since hostels particularly are filled with multinational people and it would make the conversation more natural.

Excellent app but it needs a switch button.
